What kind of events can I rent the bar trailer for?
Our bar trailer is great for weddings, birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, graduations, block parties, or any other type of outdoor celebrations you can think of!
How far do you travel?
Our packages include travel within a 30-mile radius of Queensbury, NY. However, we are happy to travel farther for your event. The additional travel will be billed for a small fee.
Do you set up the trailer and hook up the kegs for me?
Upon delivery, we will set up the trailer in your preferred location as well as hook up the first 4 taps for you.
Do you provide the alcohol?
Upon request, we are able to provide beer, wine, and cider for your event. Please contact us for a custom quote and availability. Our rental package does not include alcohol.
Does your bar trailer need power?
No, it does not need power to serve beer and wine. If you would like to use the lights on the trailer you will need power hook up. Please be sure to have 110v outlet within 100’ of where the trailer will be parked. The trailer must use a dedicated outlet, NO power strips or sharing power from another source of any kind.
How much space does your bar trailer need?
Our trailer is 15’ in length and the beer taps are off the driver’s side of the trailer. The space needs to be accessible by truck and trailer, our trailer cannot be moved by hand.
Do you allow customers to tow your bar trailer?
Due to insurance regulations, we cannot allow anyone other than authorized Social Taps Rentals staff to tow our bar trailer. All vehicles used to transport Social Taps Rentals property must be properly insured and equipped.
Do you offer bar tender service?
If your event space requires a bartender or if you would prefer a bartender to serve and to be available to switch the kegs in the trailer please give us a call to discuss.
Why is tap beer better than bottled beer?
The draft system improves the guest experience by speeding up service, eliminating a tremendous amount of waste, and lowering your alcohol costs. In addition, our specialized cooling system allows your draft beer to always pour at the perfect temperature.
Your trailer can pour wine from a keg?
Yes! We are as excited as you are about this. Your guests will love having draft wine as an option at your event. Give us a call for a recommendation on where to buy draft wine.
Is Social Taps insured?
Yes! We carry general liability insurance. We can provide copies of our insurance policies to your venue upon request.
How do I know how much beer to buy?
Our bar trailer pours from 4 taps at a time. Each tap can hold one sixtel keg, quarter keg, or half keg. A sixtel keg holds about 5.16 gallons, which yields about 55 12-ounce beers. The number of kegs needed at your event depends on a variety of factors including the size of your crowd, the type of event, the length of your event, the time of day, the demographic make-up of your guests, etc. Please contact us and we will help you determine the number of kegs needed for your event.
